Artist's Comments
Well... this is probably something you didn't expect from an anime artist ^_<. I guess I'd better explain...
Until pretty recently, my entire knowledge of the world of comics was based some pretty awful Phantom comics (the sort of thing they put in showbags because they couldn't sell them anywhere else), a few random snippits of DC comics and a little more recently Sandman (which I know a lot of people love, but I really never got into). I never liked the art, and didn't really understand the stories, therefore: ALL WESTERN COMICS=ugh. MANGA=YAY! ...that is, until there began this influx of movies based on comics. I really enjoyed Spiderman, and even more so the sequel. So, okay, maybe there were some decent stories out there. It wasn't until my sister introduced me to this livejournal community called "Scans Daily" ([link]) that I finally went through some scans of more recent comics and realised that, hang on a sec, I'm really enjoying some of this. Then I read some Young Justice. Which incidently seriously=YAY! ^^ So I've learnt my lesson, I think. Drawing this was a real learning experience; this was the first time I've tried to imitate the western comic style. I've done a quick sketches of Superboy, Robin and Impulse before (in scraps), but nothing as serious as this. ...right, this comment is officially too long, I'd better stop here. -8+ hours -Photoshop 7 |

some time ago i saw this other page.(vee gave me a link too) which was about how stupid this whole super-ability-stuff is. They had REAL booktitle there of books like superman(quite often) some were sooo stupid!! i cant belive they did such stuff...and some of the super guys..lol or the enemys haha
I've never been against all this though..I don't mind american comcis(and we are not allowed to forget stuff like lucky luke..was asterix done by americans?:s)
