Valley of the Meerratsby *Risachantag

I'm taking a short break from all the steampunk! Ironically, I ended up doing steampunk related art at work last week as well as the Steam Portal fanart, so I'm temporarily... out of steam! (badoom-ching)

Trying out a new style here; using the lasso tool on freehand to select and colour areas. The result ends up very stylised, but wow, it's quick.

The meerrats here are basically meerkats crossed with capybaras. <3

I like this style. It's very interesting, has a natural sort of flow to it. Good for drawing natural landscapes and the like, IMO.

Cool style for this! I'm sorta lost on what the large glowing thing next to the meerrat is supposed to be. Beyond that I like how you managed to make the meerrat really pop out from the background; it's subtle yet completely takes all of your attention.
