More stuff for my Tron project! Generally before I do a picture of a character who I haven't drawn before, I'll do a character art style picture just to get the idea of the costume and character design. ...and I thought I'd test out my technique for the main picture while I was at it.

I followed some of the techniques used in the movie, painting in black and white and adding colour later. I made a separate layer for the circuitry and used a few layers to get the glowing effect. ^^ Maybe I'll put up a quick tutorial sometime, as I have all the step by step files.

I'm working on the falling Tron picture, by the way. ^_< Seems that one won hands down, both on DA and in the tutorial. Maybe I'll do the light cycle one some other time.

btw how did you got the blue markings right? =) did you use a reference? if you did could you tell me where you got it from? I've been trying to draw Tron for ages but I can never get them rigth ><

Yes, I gathered what reference material I could find. I took screenshots from the movie, looked for official posters and I also had the Tron character art picture from Kingdom Hearts ([link]).
