This is an original piece for my manga circle's artbook (which we'll be selling at Waicon 2006, in Perth).
*laughs* I swear my muse must be sadistic; every time I get an idea for an original piece it seems to necessitate me drawing horrendous amounts of detail (like the 20+ cogs in this picture). I love designing mechanical wings, it's something I wanted to give another try at doing.
