More post-con inspiration! With this design, at first I was thinking it'd be neat to have an Okami pin badge of some sort, but then I remembered that the place I usually get pins made also does designs on the back of pocket mirrors.

That would work pretty well for Okami, huh? Especially seeing as one of Ammy's weapons is a mirror... So I suddenly really wanted to make an Okami mirror! ...not that I really need an excuse to do more Okami fanart. =P

I love the colors used in this work. The tones of reds, greens, and golds bring the wolf into focus nicely. The maroon border is an interesting color choice...one I'm still deciding whether I like or not. Compositionally it's very pleasing, and the style is consistent throughout.

However...there are a few anatomy issues with your wolf. Particularly the front leg on the left. It looks broken, because the bone and muscles arent connected properly. The head is a bit blocky shaped, but still visually pleasing.

I suppose my only suggestion really would be to use a few more real life references for your foundation sketches. This reminds me of those beautiful plates some people collect.

Love the colours and love the composition. Plus the overall vibrancy of the piece is just amazing, and Ammy herself looks delightfully huggable. ^^
