Description
Part 1:
The finished puppet
Video of Bobbin in action
Other general tips for puppetry for conventions:
-Make it lightweight. I use wireframe, foam and fabrics instead of paper-mache/clay/wood etc.
-If it's an animal or animal-like, watch videos of the animal to get an idea of how they move
-Beware the uncanny valley. Whether your puppet is meant to be creepy or cute, get feedback from those around you!
-Puppetry is hard on your arms and back, take breaks and have something to carry your puppet around safely in when not in use.
-Practise in front of a mirror, or with a video camera
-The puppet is a separate creature from you - it shouldn't look at and be interested in the same things as you. Also, try not to be looking at it all the time while performing.

Really loving this, you mention adding a swivel into the legs, what is a swivel?
