When you think about it, even aside from having the same coloured clothing, Gokuu and Naruto really do have a fair few things in common...

*spoilers*

Both Gokuu and Naruto go completely insane the first time they transform, and do something useful. The second time they do almost nothing useful by transforming and have their transformation removed. Later on they both receive the power of their transformation without going nuts (Naruto by learning to use the red chakra, and Gokuu by drinking the Shinsui water in the Piccolo Daimao Saga).

*end spoilers*

^_^ I guess in some small ways it shows that Kishimoto was a fan of Toriyama's...

faaannnntastic fun artwork here!!! i really enjoy the similarities between the two characters (and series in general). Im happy to see someone with so much talent do a piece to show it :D
Kishimoto actually wrote about his struggle to create a decent manga, and he mentioned Toriyama's influence on his stuff several times. yay for influence :)

hmm... I know Goku, but this Naruto... haven't seen the show his in, at all...

but wonderful pic, lass! the poses are just great! And the way ya layered them... looks wonderful :)

God, I love how great DBZ and Naruto go together *___* And I love you for drawing them like that XO!! It's easy to see you're a great fan from the way you point out ideas like this >3 The composition is perfect, really illustrates your point, plus the color and styles are amazing! :3 Wonderful wonderful wonderful job as always, and I'll say randomly that I'm thankful there's still people here who appreciate Toriyama T__T :heart:

OMG, it's so COOL! I love how you did similar expressions and poses on both boys, and the BG is fantastic. Plus, you managed to keep both characters in thier original drawings styles, big points to you on that :D

Wow. Haha I love the way you've done this. The way they're both in the same position is really good- it shows the similarities between the characters in a very easy-to-see way. The colours are brilliant and the drawings are lovely, as usual. I like the comic-book style border too! :D very nice!!
