Cosplay: Amaterasu + Waka in Japanby *Risachantag

So I may have mentioned before that the prize for winning the Australian Madman National Cosplay Competition was a trip to Japan? Well, we brought our costumes and Amaterasu along!

Luckily for us, there was a Japanese-themed cosplay event at the Kyoto Eiga-Mura (an Japanese village theme park with Samurai, ninja etc), so we made the rather epic journey from Osaka to Kyoto with all of our costume stuff in tow. This is the little shrine they have there.

More to come, though probably after I get home to clean them up! Unfortunately, it was a rather grey, muddy day.

This is truly a magnificent picture

I was so disappointed I missed see you at Brisbane Nova last November, I was stuck trying to get my photo autographed by Christopher Lloyd all Saturday and found about your cosplay after. I LOVE Amaterasu...Congrats on winning!I hope you will appear another time with Ammi in the future!

I don't tire of seeing your Okami cosplay. I started playing the game at the end of last year but haven't finished it yet due to lack of time, but now I can appreciate your pictures fully.
