Today's a rather sad day for me. Due to a major contract ending, my workplace, Different Methods ([link]
)) closed down.
It's been a wonderful place to work, with friendly co-workers and lots of talent and enthusiasm. Working there as the lead artist allowed me to grow and learn new skills outside of concept art, such as world building, modelling and user interfaces. Most of all, I think I'll miss my workmates and my boss's terrible jokes.
The main project I worked on there is being continued by another studio, and will be released in June ([link]
). There's still hope that a couple of the smaller games made with Different Methods will be released in the coming months too, so I'll be sure to post about those.
This picture is an early concept for Codex Astra, and was the background on my computer at work, so it seems fitting to post it. [link]
As for my plans, for the time being I'll have plenty of free time to work on Freedom Fall, and may open for commissions later in the month!
